Wedding Expo Port Harcourt......My Rant & Pictures

Hello Beautiful!!!

The wedding expo Port Harcourt edition began yesterday. So my friends (Labake, Chiamaka and Nonye) and  I decided to go check it out. With Labake’s wedding coming soon , it was all the more reason we decided  to head out to the wedding expo.

The expo was scheduled to start at 10 at Aztech Arcum, so we all agreed to head out at 11; thanks to Nigerian Movie ‘THE PERFECT PLAN’ featuring Joseph Benjamin and Ini Edo showing on African Magic, my girlfriends refused to get up, they decided that they must see the end of the movie……being a LOVE story you can imagine the screaming, awwwwing and laughing.

Anyways we headed out after the movie and we still got there in good time. As soon as we got in, we registered and were all given the raffle paper to stamp at all the booths we visit. This was to enable us qualify for the raffle draw and win a trip to Zanzibar.

We visited all the booth at the expo, yes o! ''we wakad''. It was beautiful, with people, discount on items, lots to see, ranging from makeup, hotels, free facials, wedding tent design, aso-ebi, caterers,  drinks and delicacies, sumptuous cakes, skincare/facials and products, perfume, customizing wedding items, wedding decors, photography, clothes, rings, wedding IVs……in fact you could plan your wedding on the spot with all these vendors around.

For the aso ebi segment what's in vogue is the Ankara-looking satin material. From a distance you would think it is the traditional Ankara material texture until you feel it and see it's actually satin.

The highlight for me was I got to know my ring size…..hehehe #dancing alingo…..so dear future hubby I await my bling bling #winks.
